General questions 1. What purpose does the e-mail service have for me as a shareholder?
After having entered your individual access data you can give your permission via e-mail service to get the invitations electronically ("e-mail dispatch") you have chosen. The e-mail dispatch replaces the present mail delivery. By this, you help yourself and us to save ressources!

All information on the LEONI share and reports on the financial and earnings situation are available on the website of LEONI at

www.leoni.com.

2. How can I use this service?
In order to be able to send you the documents and publications via e-mail, we would like to ask you to register in the internet at netvote.leoni.com by entering your shareholder ID number and your individual access number. After that you can set up your own password. For verification purposes of the e-mail address entered by you, you will receive an activation code which will be valid for 96 hours. Registration will be possible until 16 May 2019. In case you do not want to make use of this, the next chance to get registered for this service will be within the preparation of the 2020 Annual General Meeting.

Kindly note, that the e-mail service can only be used by entering a valid e-mail address. For this reason we would like to ask you to inform us about any changes of your e-mail address (see question 7).

3. I have forgotten my shareholder ID number. What can I do in this case?
Please contact our Shareholder Service. They will be pleased to help you. The Shareholder Service is available at +49 800 - 560 0484, from Monday to Friday between 8:00 hours and 18:00 hours (CEST).

4. I have forgotten my password or would like to change it. What is to be done in this case?
Please, enter your shareholder ID number on the internet login page and leave the text entry box for the password blank, then select "Start". You can order a new password on the following internet page. For this you have to answer the question you have assigned yourself for control purposes. Select "Generate". A new password will be sent to your e-mail address as specified by you. Then re-enter your shareholder ID number as well as the new password on the internet login page. In the next step you will be asked to change this password.

Kindly note, that the generation of a new password will only be possible until 16 May 2019. After this date the next chance for doing so will be within the preparation of the 2020 Annual General Meeting.

5. My password was blocked after I entered it incorrectly several times. What do I have to do to get online access again?
Please contact our Shareholder Service. They will be pleased to help you. The Shareholder Service is available at +49 800 - 560 0484, from Monday to Friday between 8:00 hours and 18:00 hours (CEST).

6. What happens if I have sold all LEONI shares?
In this case you can unfortunately not use the e-mail service any more.

However, should you still have an interest in company information of LEONI AG you will be able to find all information on the LEONI share and reports on the financial and earnings situation on the website.

7. How can I change the ordering of the e-mail service or inform you about a new e-mail address after 16 May 2019?
From 17 May 2019 onward the AGM online service is closed. You can change the ordering of the e-mail service or inform us about a new e-mail address via the AGM Online Service until and not later than 16 May 2019, 24:00 hours (CEST).

Technical questions 1. Which browser can I use for the application?
You will need a browser which supports 256-bit-SSL encryption. We recommend either Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Internet Explorer (6.0 or higher). In order to find out which version you currently use, please open either Netscape or Microsoft Internet Explorer. Then click on the question mark in the menu bar at the upper edge of the screen and then select "Info". A new window opens on your screen showing information on the browser version and the encryption.

2. What technology does LEONI AG use to ensure the security of my transactions?
LEONI AG allows you to access the internet service via a secure connection. Access is protected by entry of the shareholder ID number and an individual access number. Following activation by entry of an activation code (see question 3 under "General questions") which will be sent to you by separate e-mail immediately after your first-time registration, access is protected by your shareholder ID number and your self-issued password. In the case that you will not receive a confirmation e-mail you can re-enter your e-mail address and request a new activation code.

LEONI AG uses the latest Commerce Secure Server with RSA encryption. This means that the connection is secured by a 256-bit Secure Socket Layer or SSL protocol. This protocol ensures that the confidential data exchanged between your secure internet browser and our secure servers is protected.

3. How can I tell whether my internet connection is secure?
Looking at the Web address is one way to recognise a secure Internet connection. If it starts with "https", this is a sign of a secure connection (e.g. https://domainname.de). Another indication is the symbol of a "locked padlock" in the status bar of your browser. Whether the address bar and status bar are shown on your screen will depend on your individual browser settings.

4. I have been asked if I want to display and transfer unsecure content
You are probably using an older version of your browser which does not recognise some of our security features. In order to avoid receiving this message again, you may choose to install the latest version of the browser. The latest versions and installation instructions, for instance for the Internet Explorer, are available free of charge from Microsoft at the following link:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/internet-explorer.aspx

5. What do I have to do if the connection to the internet service breaks down during registration?

After you have logged in and entered your shareholder ID number and your self-issued password, you will normally receive an e-mail with an activation code, which is valid for 96 hours. Your access will be activated after you have entered the code on the activation page. If you have not received an e-mail, you can re-enter your e-mail address at the end of the activation page and request a new activation code.

If the system connection is broken:
  1. Before confirmation of registration:
  2. It was not possible to successfully complete the new login, i.e. you must re-enter your shareholder ID number and individual access number on the login page and carry out all of the registration steps again.
  3. After confirmation of registration:
  4. To log in, you must now enter your shareholder ID number and your self-issued password on the login page. Your access will be activated after you have entered the activation code submitted to you by separate e-mail.

6. What do I have to do if I want to end my session?
You should always exit the internet service via the "Logout" menu item. If you do not log off in this way, there is the possibility that unauthorized persons will be able to look at or manipulate your data on your PC.

7. Why did I receive the notice "Time Out" although my log-in was just a few minutes ago?
The settings of your browser must be positioned to accept cookies as a prerequisite to use the AGM online service. Please check whether your browser is prepared for this. If this is not the case, please set it to accept cookies. Cookies used by the AGM online service become void or will be deleted automatically after the closing of the browser. If a cookie can not be placed, then the server is not able to identify whether the user is (still) properly registered or not. And then the user receives the notice "Time Out".

8. How do I create a screenshot in the event of error messages?
If you want to create a screenshot from an error message, you can do so in Windows using the "Print" key: Single-click the "Print" key to save the whole of the screen contents to the clipboard. Now open Microsoft Word or WordPad, for example, and press the key combination Ctrl+V for "Insert". You can now store the screenshot or print it out or send it by e-mail to the Shareholder Service at leoni.hv@linkmarketservices.de.
